Philanthropic Corner

There is, and should be, a connection between doing business in a community and getting involved in its charitable activities, based on this philosophy  I'm committed to contributing a portion of my commission from each closed transaction, to a mutually agreeable charity.

This program supports both local and global charitable activities. The key to the program is that I offer to reduce my commission with the agreement that my client will donate that commission-savings to a mutually-agreeable charity, I then match that donation. Donations are paid out of escrow at closing.  This creates a win, win for everyone:

1. The selected charity wins because it gets a significant donation

2. The client wins because they get cash back from the IRS, deducting the donation on Schedule A of the federal income tax return

3. I win because, I'm able to direct considerable support to a good cause, and at the same time lower my taxes.
